Seaboard Foods is seeking an HR Manager in Perryton, TX to lead HR functions for 400+ employees, set culture, coach managers, and partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring initiatives. This on-site role plays a pivotal part on the leadership team, guiding policies and employee relations to support organizational success.

The position emphasizes implementing programs, managing benefits and onboarding, and driving performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3 years’ experience in human resources, or equivalency between experience and education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS) preferred.
• Bilingual; English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialist guidance on interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
• Plans, coordinates, and administers work activities related to employment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, and labor relations.
• Manages and reports on team performance; sets objectives for direct reports and holds them accountable.

We have an exciting HR Manager opportunity in our Perryton, TX office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the company’s leadership team, supporting over 400 employees. Responsibilities

• Provides specialist guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures. Resolves complex questions or contentious concerns/issues by providing information on processes and related policies and referring to others where necessary to interpret the policy. Coaches to enable the team to take appropriate actions.


• Plans, coordinates, and administers work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment/staffing, onboarding/orientation/training, benefits and compensation, and employee/labor relations.


• Manages and reports on team performance; sets appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or projects/account team members and holds them accountable for achievement, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.


• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems where applicable.


• Assist in planning and implementing actions, including continuing professional development to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to the team and others in their area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.


• Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations where applicable.
