Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Transportation Load Tracker in Merriam, KS to connect the Transportation Team, Sales Team, Customers, and Plant Shipping. This role acts as a communication bridge to optimize efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include coordinating pickups and deliveries, maintaining schedules, and engaging with customers to ensure timely transportation commitments. The position is Monday–Friday, primarily office-based with some field work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and ability to prioritize.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external contacts related to pickups or deliveries.
• Work closely with plant personnel and customers to adhere to schedules.
• Monitor and manage appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Set delivery appointments within acceptable parameters using various means as required.
• Actively engage with customers to ensure adherence to transportation schedules.

SCHEDULE
