Responsibility for managing all Human Resource activities in a fast-paced union environment for the Napoleon, OH manufacturing facilities within the Campbell USA Supply Chain. Functions include, but are not limited to, employee and labor relations, training, organizational development and effectiveness, Occupational Safety & Health, recruiting and retention, benefits administration, training, Affirmative Action, performance management, STD/LTD/FMLA, and continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with various levels and functions within the organization, listening, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills; ability to drive consensus. This position requires a competent, experienced, self-motivated individual; organized and possessing excellent process & time management skills.
What you will do…
Principal Accountabilities
1. 45% - Provide support to approximately 1300-person client base, including employee and labor relations, training, performance management, recruiting, etc.
2. 35% - Lead all HR activities for the Napoleon location, including focal review & objective setting, diversity initiatives, regulatory program compliance, achievement of key HR metrics, PeopleSoft administration, etc.
3. 15% - Facilitate classes and seminars, including manager and supervisor development, diversity, new hire selection processes and orientation, safety, objective setting process, benefits & retirement, engagement survey action planning.
4. 5% - Other miscellaneous duties for the plants, including but not limited to: Town Hall/All-Associate meetings, recognition programs, payroll processing, plant communications (newsletters), support IT administration, etc.
Job Complexity
• Advise and facilitate continuing development of plant culture towards high performance, self-directed teams.
• Work with senior leadership to interpret and enhance policies.
• Support initiatives and facilitate processes to achieve an injury-free work environment.
• Coordinate salary planning process for associates, coordinate activities to meet designated timeline, provide direction to ensure data cleanup prior to download.
• Support benefit problem resolution- works with associate and provides phone numbers, websites or answers.
• Assist in design of individual development plans to help employees reach full potential.
• Ability to interact with employees, Managers, Directors and VP's throughout the organization in an effective manner.
What you bring to the table…
Job Specifications
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited university, Masters in Human Resources or MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of human resources generalist experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment; experience in unionized manufacturing and/or consumer products industry.
• Driven to inspiring trust, creating direction, driving organizational alignment and executing with excellence.
• Ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail; Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and Excel; PeopleSoft, Kronos, Workday.
• Willingness to aggressively and professionally confront unpleasant situations.
Working Conditions
Office setting within a manufacturing environment; travel and mobility up to 20%
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

Compensation and Benefits:

$105,800-$152,000Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
