About the Role

Jennie Joiner with The Forum Group PNW is seeking a strategic, people-first Senior Manager of Human Resources and Payroll to make a meaningful impact with our client. In this leadership role, you’ll foster a workplace culture where employees feel empowered, valued, and inspired to do their best work—every day.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll oversee the full HR function including compliance, recruiting, performance development, payroll, benefits, and more. You’ll also coach three direct reports to maximize their potential while ensuring HR compliance and effectiveness. What You’ll Own & Elevate

You’ll influence nearly every aspect of the employee lifecycle, including:

Payroll & Compliance:

  • Manage payroll (via ADP) with precision, ensuring wage, hour, and labor law compliance.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

  • Attract, hire, and build talent pipelines. Maintain a strong talent bench.
  • Ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right times.

Culture & Development:

  • Lead onboarding, training, and development initiatives that foster growth and engagement.
  • Champion a people-first, performance-driven culture.
  • Develop and communicate clear, compliant policies aligned with company values.
  • Drive performance management processes to support team success.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers.
  • Resolve conflicts with fairness, consistency, and empathy.

  • Passion for team-building and empowerment.
  • Comfort in agricultural or dynamic environments with seasonal conditions.
