Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a growing Lansing, MI manufacturing company to hire an experienced HR Manager who will partner with leadership to align people strategy with business goals.

You will lead recruiting, performance management, payroll, benefits, and compliance across the organization while shaping culture and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive positive organizational change.
• Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and labor regulations.
• Partner with leadership teams to drive employee engagement initiatives and support organizational growth.
• Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits programs, and HR reporting metrics.
• Manage employee concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with professionalism and consistency.
• Design and lead training and development initiatives to strengthen employee skills and career advancement opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all human resources matters.
