Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing Operations

Are you an HR leader who thrives in dynamic manufacturing environments? We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee people operations at a high-performance production facility. In this role, you'll serve as a key advisor to plant leadership and drive HR initiatives that support a safe, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.

  • Act as a strategic partner to plant leadership and ensure alignment of HR initiatives with operational goals
  • Lead employee relations programs that promote open communication, fairness, and a respectful workplace
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles, ensuring top talent acquisition
  • Coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and corrective action plans
  • Serve as site lead on compliance, labor practices, safety programs, and workforce development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on training needs, organizational development, and internal mobility
  • Oversee benefits coordination, FMLA/leave administration, workers’ compensation, and payroll input
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity; ensure timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years in an HR leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Hands-on knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to multitask, influence others, and drive change in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexible schedule to support multiple shifts as needed
  • Master’s degree or SHRM/HRCI certification
  • Familiarity with AS400, HRIS platforms, and process improvement tools
  • Experience in metals, packaging, or similar industrial manufacturing environments
