Technical Recruiter TRS Staffing Solutions, Engineering Recruitment Specialists

Our client, a globally recognized leader in precision metal stamping, injection molding, value-added assembly solutions, and tooling, is seeking an experienced, Spanish-bilingual Human Resources Manager to join their team in Fairfield, NJ. This facility specializes in the production of surgical products.

  • Responsibilities: Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the division’s human resources and talent strategy, focusing on current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Ensure timely performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Recruiter to recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions; understand skills and competencies required for roles.
  • Oversee onboarding of new hires for a smooth transition.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Manage Open Enrollment processes, including meetings and employee inquiries.
  • Work with VP HR on competitive salaries to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations; coach managers on progressive discipline; consult with VP of HR on outcomes.
  • Organize company events to boost employee engagement and morale.
  • Manage training programs, grants, and ensure all trainings are scheduled and attended.
  • Update HR systems (Paylocity) as required.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and review policies regularly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by VP of EH or VP of HR.

Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; team player with interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize; act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; knowledge of employment laws; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of human resource experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems like Paylocity, ADP, or similar.
