We are on the hunt for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Human Resources Manager with a deep understanding of the legal industry. This role will be instrumental in managing, developing, and executing human resources functions that drive our business goals and nurture our greatest asset - our people. If you are passionate about fostering a positive work environment and have a knack for solving complex HR issues, this is the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Implement and manage the Paylocity system for payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for 5+ years.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including Paylocity.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in the legal industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations, managing disputes, and handling employee grievances.
