Job description

As the HR Manager, your primary focus will be to cultivate a vibrant company culture and oversee performance management. This role involves developing and implementing strategies that promote a positive work environment, foster employee engagement, and drive high performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a workplace culture that aligns with our company values and supports our business objectives. We are a remote-first workplace with employees in multiple locations and time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Operations:
    Lead HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration, ensuring they align with culture and performance goals.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR policies and regulations, and ensure compliance in all activities.
  2. Development:
    1. Design and implement initiatives that reinforce the company's core values and promote a positive organizational culture.
    2. Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees can quickly get up to speed on company culture, strategy, and how they will succeed in their role.
    3. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that culture-building activities are integrated into daily operations.
    4. Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
  3. Performance Management:
    1. Lead the performance management process, including the development of performance metrics and evaluation methods.
    2. Provide training and support to managers and employees on performance management tools and best practices.
    3. Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  4. Employee Relations:
    1. Serve as a point of contact for employee issues and concerns, fostering a supportive and open work environment.
    2. Coordinate with leadership to resolve workplace conflicts and improve team dynamics.
  5. Training and Development:
    1. Identify training needs related to culture and performance, and develop programs to address these needs.
    2. Organize and facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as leadership, teamwork, and company values.

Required Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  2. PHR or SHRM certification or education.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role.
  4. Strong understanding of HR practices and employee relations.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Ability to develop and implement creative solutions to enhance workplace culture and performance.

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
401k plan eligibility after 1 year with a 6% match.
Unlimited PTO.
Home office stipend.
