At Complete Solaria, human resources (HR) is focused on what people need and how to provide it. We’re searching for a qualified Human Resources Manager to coordinate all aspects of HR, encompassing the full employee lifecycle, and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and programs are adhered to and maintained across the local geography and disciplines.
Particular emphasis is placed on hiring and onboarding, benefits, and ensuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position works closely with the Vice President of Human Resources in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities. The role also involves assisting with safety efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, and offboarding at the Salt Lake City site.
- Provide HR guidance, acting as coach and mentor to local teams and employees.
- Collaborate effectively with leadership and teams across departments and geographies.
- Manage relationships with third-party HR vendors and consultants.
- Conduct constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Plan, direct, and supervise activities related to payroll and employee benefits programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and internal equity.
- Administer benefits programs, including liaising with providers on health, life, workers' compensation, unemployment, and retirement plans.
- Assist the VP of HR in daily HR services such as recruitment, promotions, transfers, contract negotiations, EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
- Develop and analyze reports on employee data, including benefits costs, staffing, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and compensation.
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state laws affecting HR management, advising management accordingly.
- Educate and influence teams and leadership on HR matters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR management experience.
- Thorough understanding of multi-state and federal employment laws.
- Multi-state experience required; global experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, ethical, and cultural awareness skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of HR procedures.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Office 365, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and HR-related software.

Compensation varies based on skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and location. The role offers a discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, Discretionary Time Off, and other benefits. The salary range is $100,000 - $140,000, depending on the candidate.
