The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and demonstrating proficiency in all HR activities related to the organization’s personnel and HR management. Duties include, but are not limited to, handling employee relation matters, benefits administration, training and development, developing recruitment strategies, implementing HR systems, processes and improvements, and managing each aspect of the employee life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Support department team leaders by providing guidance on performance management, problem solving, and various policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, workers’ compensation, etc.)
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and guidelines, and ensure HR policies are applied consistently
- Provide employee relations support to team leaders
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Oversee and implement performance reviews, rate increases, promotions, and incentive programs
- Achieve target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to attrition, employee engagement, and safety
- Assist in driving employee engagement across all departments
- Support the Ritedose vision and strategy by helping build a culture that aligns with the Ritedose values
- Support organizational growth and future growth of the company by participating in interview events/career fairs, training/onboarding, and providing temporary talent support, if needed
- Work closely with frontline and team leaders to ensure optimal alignment and collaboration
- Execute recruitment and retention initiatives that support the broader business goals
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
- Overall administration of company benefits programs, to include but not limited to benefit inquiries, billing, reporting, annual insurance renewal, and open enrollment process
- Compliance and administration of employee’s leave of absence, FMLA, and workers' compensation
- Compliance and filing of required government programs such as EEO-1, VETS, OSHA, and Benefit Summary Annual reports
- Assist in organizing company special events, community recognition, and support
- Maintain a positive, service-focused mindset
- Demonstrate the ability to value both relationships and results, and to put others above themselves
- Work with senior HR management to execute HR strategy and initiatives across the organization
- Understand and ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws
- Maintain confidentiality of medical information, compensation, and all other employee personal information records per company policy and legal regulations
- Complete other activities as deemed valuable by HR management and the organization
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of Affirmative Action regulations
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with minimum supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact well with employees, candidates, vendors, and co-workers, demonstrating flexibility as well as a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenging situations
