We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee and enhance our HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our firm while supporting our team's success. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations including recruiting, on-boarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players.
Recruiting and On-boarding - manage the end to end hiring process, including job postings, interviewing, background checks, and on-boarding new hires.
Employee Relations - serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns fostering a positive and productive work environment.
HR Compliance - ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including managing employee files, training programs, and certifications.
Performance Management and Salary Administration - Develop and oversee performance review processes, employee development plans, and improvement strategies.
Benefits Administration - Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including short and long term disability, health, dental, and vision insurance, and PTO.
Policy Development - Create, update and enforce company policies and procedures that align with our values and business goals.
Training and Development - Identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance employee skills and firm performance.
Payroll Administration - Enter employee information in firm's payroll processing system, verify accuracy of data and provide payroll support as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
5+ years of HR experience preferable in a law firm or professional services environment, including working with benefits administration, recruiting, and payroll administration.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Payroll experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft products and HR tools and software.
$65,000 - $85,000
