Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR activities for our manufacturing operations in the Nashville area. You will partner with management to meet corporate objectives, improve productivity, and boost morale across salaried and hourly staff.

The role requires strong communication, independent work, and hands-on leadership in recruitment, employee relations, policy execution, safety training (OSHA), and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a human resources manager; well-rounded generalist experience.
• Experience working in a skilled hourly worker or manufacturing environment.
• HR certification (SPHR or PHR) is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, employee relations, employee development, training, and employee communications.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, practices, and procedures.
• Promote positive plant culture by implementing initiatives that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Responsible for compensation and salary administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Manage administration and communication of benefit programs.
• Manage administrative transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, and terminations.
• Coaching and counseling for staff.
• Partner with management to meet corporate objectives and enhance productivity and morale.
• Oversee HR for both salaried and hourly employees.
