Position Overview

The HR Manager will oversee HR functions including organizational development, workforce planning, staffing evaluation, and benefits management. This role emphasizes cultivating a culture of trust, empowerment, collaboration, and inclusion. Candidates must be willing to commute to the Canton Office, reporting to the Sr Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processing, monitor system interfaces, recommend policies, ensure compliance, and maintain employee records.
2. Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, conduct onboarding presentations, manage claims and inquiries, coordinate open enrollment, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
3. Onboarding: Oversee background checks, manage onboarding processes, coordinate with hiring managers, and update organizational systems.
4. General HR Duties: Handle employment verifications, maintain HR documentation, support HR initiatives, manage employee relations, and oversee performance reviews and offboarding activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with expertise in payroll and benefits, a relevant bachelor’s degree, HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, CPP), and knowledge of employment laws. Strong communication skills, confidentiality, teamwork, independence, and a passion for health and wellness are essential.
