Job summary

Simplicity Home Care, a growing multi-state home care organization, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the employee experience from onboarding through development and retention.

Qualifications

Simplicity Home Care is a growing multi-state home care organization dedicated to helping individuals remain safely and independently in their homes. We are looking for an experienced, people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our employee experience from onboarding through development and retention.

While experience in home care or healthcare is strongly preferred, we welcome HR leaders from other industries who are passionate about developing people and building great cultures.

Key Responsibilities

• Training & Development: Oversee company-wide training programs, build leadership development pathways, and partner with department heads to identify skills gaps and growth opportunities for both office and field teams.
• HR Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain multi-state compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Oversee employee relations, policy updates, handbook maintenance, FMLA/ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation.
• Onboarding Oversight: Own the new-hire journey post-offer. Maintain structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding check-ins to track early retention, ensure document compliance, and set new hires up for success.
• Employee Experience & Retention: Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, stay/exit interviews, and turnover analysis. Champion our core values.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including prior HR management or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong foundation in employment law, multi-state compliance, and employee relations.
• Proven track record in designing onboarding and employee training initiatives.

Preferred:

• Experience in home care, healthcare, or managing a multi-location workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification.
