Job summary

Valeo is seeking an HR Intern in Reno, NV for a part-time, one-year opportunity to support HR operations across processes such as recruiting, compensation, records, training, and employee relations.

You will assist in managing HR data in multiple systems, generate reports, and help with employee engagement activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a program working towards or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources focused program.
• Comfortable following intricate processes and processing data in multiple systems/databases.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Site Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Provide customer service for team members.
• Enter personnel transactions in HRIS.
• Create customized reports.
• Support workflows in Workday and ADP.
• Prepare reports including verification of employment and communications.
