Job summary

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Purchasing Trainee/Apprentice in McAllen, TX for a part-time internship. You will support managing supplier master data and assist with implementing the spare parts management system (Tool CRIB).

You will collaborate with internal sites and suppliers, gain real-world experience, and develop communication and data-management skills in a diverse, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in courses pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Excel and Google Applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing supplier master data.
• Pilot the implementation of the spare parts management system (Tool CRIB).
• Create, maintain and improve data flows between internal sites and suppliers.
