What You’ll Do…

This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time, in-person internships. The summer 2027 internship is expected to begin on May 23, 2027.

• Be part of one of the following groups at the Halliburton Corporate HQ – Global Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits), or HR Systems and Services.
• Work on HR projects within an area of HR practice and with your peer HR Interns on a group presentation.
• Have the opportunity to participate in networking events designed for all summer Halliburton interns and interface with our HR Leadership.

The summer HR internship program serves as a pipeline into our various full-time HR opportunities, eventually progressing through our HR career path. This path has defined options to specialize in a single HR area of interest, develop multiple areas of practice, or become an HR Business Partner. Training, experiences, and competencies are aligned with these paths, truly letting employees own their own career. Participants build working knowledge and develop the skills needed to realize our HR mission to serve as trusted advisor to employees and leadership by providing innovative people solutions that are aligned with the business needs and objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.

• Strong analytical skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in computerized solutions (Windows/Microsoft Office applications)
• Prefer candidates to be geographically mobile.
• Interest/experience transition from manual processes to ones that use automation and/or AI tools.

Relocation

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

Salary Range: $22/hour
