Job summary

Lima One Capital is seeking an IT Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience across Service Desk, IT Security, and Application Support in our Greenville, SC headquarters. You will assist staff and customers, install and troubleshoot systems, and learn incident handling, security practices, and application support workflows.

Join a hands-on program with 11 weeks of Monday–Friday work, under senior leaders, with paid hourly compensation and housing/parking assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Certifications in: CompTIA A+, Security+, or ITIL are preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Energetic, curious, and passionate about technology, with eagerness to learn new tools, systems, and ideas
• Customer Support Experience
• Knowledge of IT Ticketing Systems

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems and software
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems
• Assist with basic IT Security tasks, such as monitoring security alerts, supporting user access reviews, and reinforcing security awareness practices
• Support IT Application teams with application administration, user issue triage, and testing of updates or new features
• Work across IT Teams to assist in Compliance, Security, Infrastructure, and Applications tasks

As Lima One Capital's IT Operations Intern, you'll get a firsthand look across three core areas of the IT Department: Service Desk, IT Security, and Application Support. You'll roll up your sleeves alongside experienced professionals, picking up practical, in-demand skills while helping keep the company's technology running smoothly. We're looking for someone energetic, curious, and excited to learn new technologies and tools — no prior IT experience required, just a willingness to jump in. Beyond the technical skills, this internship is a great introduction to how a company operates and how IT supports the business at every level, giving you real experience and real impact from day one.

Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC. Join us in our thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for!). Housing assistance available for qualified individuals
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 17th to Friday, July 30th, 2027
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
