Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Workday Configurator to optimize Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA) processes in a fully remote role. You will configure, test, and enhance Workday functionality, partnering with HR, Payroll, and vendors to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of Workday configuration experience, strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Workday configuration experience.
• 3+ years supporting Workday Benefits and LOA modules.
• Strong understanding of Workday processes, reporting, and security.
• Experience with benefits enrollment, leave administration, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Benefits and Absence in Workday, incl. eligibility, plans, leaves, accruals.
• Support open enrollment activities and ongoing benefits and leave administration.
• Develop and modify workflows, business rules, and approvals to meet requirements.
• Partner with external vendors for integrations and data exchanges.
• Create reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support decisions.
• Conduct testing for system enhancements, updates, and releases.
• Research and resolve system issues and suggest improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with HR/Payroll to optimize system performance.

Our client is seeking a skilled Workday professional to support the ongoing administration and enhancement of Benefits and Leave of Absence processes within Workday. Job Description:

The Workday Configurator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence functionality. This individual will serve as a key resource for system configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced working with stakeholders to deliver scalable Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Benefits and Absence functionality within Workday, including eligibility requirements, benefit plans, leave programs, and accrual tracking.
• Support open enrollment activities and ongoing benefits and leave administration processes.
• Develop and modify workflows, business rules, notifications, and approval paths to support business requirements.
• Partner with external vendors to support integrations and data exchanges related to benefits and leave programs.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct testing activities for system enhancements, updates, and releases.
• Research and resolve system-related issues while recommending process improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system optimization.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Workday configuration experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence modules.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, reporting capabilities, and security concepts.
• Experience supporting benefits enrollment, leave administration, and vendor-connected solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
