Labor and Employee Relations are the biggest aspects of this role. The site HR team will partner with our Operations Leaders and have a significant impact to the facility operations. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who will positively influence and partner with employees and managers.
Position exists to coordinate and implement human resources policies, programs and systems to support the successful attainment of business objectives. This includes working with managers and shop floor supervisors with key areas of responsibility including FMLA administration, recruitment/staffing, employee engagement, compensation and benefits administration, safety and health/wellness and equal opportunity affairs.
This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
Bachelors or better in Human Resources or related field.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and effectively with employees across all levels of the organization
Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion and integrity
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve
Experience with HR metrics and working in Excel
