The position requires an Associate Degree in HR or 5 years HR experience, with strong communication and Oracle HCM knowledge. Weekly pay and benefits eligibility after waiting period are included. Hybrid schedule and potential extension offered.

Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a HR Generalist 1 to join their team. As a HR Generalist 1, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for HR, and the ability to build effective relationships, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HR Generalist 1

Location: Hybrid in California

Pay Range: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Review all HRIS transactional process requirements on a daily/weekly basis and manage approval or rejection processes.
• Understand core HR policies and processes to ensure quality and timely processing decisions.
• Escalate transactional process issues and advanced issues to management for review.
• Manage incoming HR cases, calls, and chats requiring extensive HR knowledge across various processes such as benefits, compensation, wellness programs, and leave of absence.
• Leverage key business contacts to resolve employee inquiries and related processes, enhancing the overall employee experience.

What's Needed?

• Associate Degree or higher in HR or related field, or 5 years of HR experience.
• Experience with Oracle HCM is required; familiarity with Ultipro/UKG and ServiceNow is preferred.
• Strong HR knowledge, including understanding of HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
