Job summary

Tate Access Floors Inc is seeking an HR Generalist to support business objectives and employee engagement across the lifecycle, split 50/50 between talent acquisition and HR operations. You will manage full-cycle recruiting, coordinate interviews, and drive onboarding and employee relations with a focus on compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant recruiting responsibility.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple job levels and functions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes.
  • Experience with HRIS (UKG) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong recruiting and interviewing skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and shape recruitment strategies.
  • Create and post job advertisements across recruitment platforms.
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through interviews and assessments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews, including scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening activities.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and negotiate compensation within established guidelines.
  • Maintain talent pipelines and use proactive sourcing approaches.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
  • Support employer branding efforts and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support a positive onboarding experience.
  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
  • Administer HR programs including performance reviews, employee recognition, and engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee questions about benefit programs.
  • Support compensation activities, salary reviews, and market benchmarking initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to inform decisions.
  • Participate in HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, training and development programs, and organizational change efforts.
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Adhere to product compliance obligations in line with the Product Compliance Policy, laws, regulations, and market demands.
  • Support compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System, including raising concerns to the appropriate channels or through the confidential whistleblower service.

What you’ll do

The Human Resources Generalist supports business objectives and employee engagement across the employee lifecycle. The role is split evenly between 50% talent acquisition and 50% general HR operations.
