Job summary

Lutz is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to support employees across multiple locations with a flexible 20-hour workweek. You will own the employee experience from hire to departure while partnering with leadership to foster a positive, professional workplace culture.

Responsibilities include onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting support, and maintaining HR records in compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
  • At least three years as an HR Generalist.
  • Experience with employee relations and benefits administration.
  • Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development, and offboarding.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Partner with leaders to navigate employee relations issues with professionalism and consistency.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications.
  • Support recruiting efforts through candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Assist with performance management, coaching conversations, and HR initiatives.
  • Help promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture across multiple office locations.
  • Travel to company locations approximately once per month to build relationships and provide on‑site HR support.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Three or more years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Experience handling employee relations and benefits administration.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting multiple office locations or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Previous experience in a growing organization.
  • Part‑time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week.
