Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Human Resources Generalist to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training
• Recruit and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
• Work with departmental managers to understand the skills required for openings
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Oversee new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs
• Assist with employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
• Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Able to navigate complex organizational dynamics
• Skilled in Excel, Paychex, and HRIS
