Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will provide support and is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards, or another senior management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is Remote, and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.
Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
- Per Diem Management
- Support construction teams with Per Diem changes and transfers;
- Create and process employee assignment letters/tax change forms
- Prepare, review, audit and/or process all per diem changes;
- Enter per diem rates into ADP Workforce Now and work with payroll on bi-weekly payouts.
- Maintain GSA rates for each project location
- Talent Acquisition, Pre & Onboarding
- Execute tasks related with preboarding, onboarding and conduct new hire orientation, ensuring all required documents are executed and received and all necessary access/equipment is provided;
- Conduct I-9 verifications, regularly audit for accuracy and compliance;
- Oversee the 90-day performance management process;
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development;
- Compliance
- Prepare, review, audit and/or process HR related information, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment law, internal process and program requirements;
- Align with Hanwha Q CELLS policies, maintain federal and state compliance requirements;
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client, company, and personnel information;
- Keep up-to-date with employment laws and best practices, and communicate these to management regularly;
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives;
- Prepare and present reports on HR activities, compliance, and key performance indicators to senior leadership;
- Identify trends and recommend proactive measures to address potential HR issues;
- Complete status changes;
- HR Operations
- Assist the HR Operations team with the day-to-day HR operations;
- Assist the HRIS team in ADP Payroll processing as needed.
- Support HRIS team in the Workday and ADP implementations (system testing, data inputs, and data migration reconciliation).
- Support the effective integration and administration of HR processes, programs, and practices into daily operations;
- Create and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures;
- Effectively communicate to employees on various HR matters;
- Aid HR department in implementing new policies and procedures;
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs;
- Assist with immigration and visa inquiries;
- Human Capital Management (“HCM”) // Employee Engagement
- Support with planning and executing company-sponsored events;
- Track marketing materials and new hire onboarding gifts;
- Execute employee recognition programs, including birthday announcements, and employee anniversaries;
- Partner with HR team on various HCM initiatives (Learning Management System, Support HCM team on status changes related to promotions, annual review process, compensation changes, Total Rewards/Incentive Programs; re-organizational changes
- Work with GES HCM team to run ad hoc reports and/or collect data for Budget approvals;
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Excellentcommunication and presentation skills.Ability and experience communicating with upper management and leadership team is a strong plus

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or another related field in business administration
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant human resources experience
- Strong knowledge of various benefit programs
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration
- Strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations
- Proficiency using software programs such as HRIS, Payroll system (such as ADP WFN)
- Advanced reporting skills using Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or related energy industries
- Proficiency using HRIS (such as Workday), Payroll system (such as ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, etc), and MS Office

SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION
The anticipated starting pay range of this position is $75,000 - $105,000 base salary per year.
The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
