Qualifications

About This Opportunity
This role will include responsibilities for collaboratively supporting the daily operational aspects of the HR function alongside the SVP of People and Talent. You will focus on employee relations, HRIS management, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and talent acquisition support. This position is essential in enhancing the employee experience while ensuring policy compliance and operational efficiency across HR processes.

Although this is a remote role, candidates MUST be based in the Greater Boston area and willing to visit our Centers when necessary.

Duties Include:


  • Handle employee relations matters including addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and supporting managers with performance issues
  • Process and investigate employee grievances, complaints, and concerns, ensuring fair and timely resolution
  • Facilitate progressive disciplinary actions in partnership with managers, providing guidance on documentation and best practices
  • Manage our HRIS system (Paylocity),ensuring accuracy of employee records and HR files, ensuring secure storage and compliance with record-keeping requirements, workflow configuration, approval processes, and performance review setup, etc.
  • Lead and enhance our employee onboarding and offboarding programs to create an outstanding experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee questions regarding benefits
  • Coordinate and manage leave administration processes
  • Manage the HR email inbox, providing timely responses to employee inquiries
  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts as needed, including screenings and interview scheduling
  • Act as the liaison between HR and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and workers' compensation administration
  • Manage mandatory training programs through our learning management system
  • Maintain job descriptions and organizational charts to ensure accuracy and compliance



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with focus on HR operations and employee relations
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, with Paylocity experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations and best practices
  • Experience with benefits administration, open enrollment processes, and leave management
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Ability to work for any employer in the United States



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in healthcare or start-up environments
  • Proficiency in building processes and improving HR workflows
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with moderate supervision
  • Strong prioritization, flexibility, and adaptability skills
