Job summary

Paybox Corp in Mount Airy, NC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our on-site HR team. You will support local hourly production recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management to help our employees thrive.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 4+ years of HR Generalist experience, with strong knowledge of HR policies, regulations, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS – ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal HR services aligned with business goals and partner with managers.
• Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Support development and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Coordinate employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Support Operations Leader with health and safety programs.
• Assist HR leadership with policy updates, workforce planning, and engagement initiatives.

On-site position; 5 days a week

We are looking for a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our HR team and support our onsite team in Mt Airy, NC.

You will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including local hourly production recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Responsibilities
