Responsibilities

• Manage UKG Pro and/or Paylocity payroll systems, including tax codes and deductions.
• Administer employee benefits, COBRA, open enrollment, and 401(k).
• Handle employee relations, investigations, coaching, and terminations.
• Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and documentation.
• Ensure multi-state HR compliance filings and registrations.
• Process workers compensation and unemployment claims.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, Payroll, Finance, and vendors.

Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Generalist with 2+ years of experience to support HR operations, employee relations, benefits, HRIS, and multi-state compliance.

Staffing/recruitment industry experience is strongly preferred, especially candidates who have supported a high-volume, multi-state workforce and worked closely with Recruiting, Payroll, Operations, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage UKG Pro and/or Paylocity, including tax codes, garnishments, and benefit deductions.
• Administer employee benefits, COBRA, open enrollment, and 401(k).
• Handle employee relations, investigations, coaching, and terminations.
• Manage multi-state HR compliance, filings, and registrations.
• Process workers compensation and unemployment claims.
• Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and documentation.
• Support PFML requirements and government communications.
• Partner with employees, managers, Payroll, Finance, and vendors.

Requirements

• 2+ years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, or similar experience.
• HRIS and benefits administration experience.
• Multi-state HR experience strongly preferred.
• Staffing/recruitment environment experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment compliance and HR practices.
• UKG Pro or Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, Excel, and problem-solving skills.
