LHH is partnering with a Minnesota-based manufacturing company to provide HR support across onboarding, HRIS administration, reporting, attendance tracking, recruiting coordination, and HR projects. The role supports 70+ employees across integrated units and collaborates with production leadership and staffing partners.

The ideal candidate will have HR Generalist experience in manufacturing, strong onboarding capabilities, and proficient use of UKG/UltiPro, with a hands-on, collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Experience as HR Generalist or in a similar HR operations role.
• Strong onboarding, attendance management, and HRIS skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage new hire onboarding and employee setup in UKG.
• Run reports and maintain employee records in the HRIS.
• Assist with recruiting coordination and staffing agency partnerships.
• Track attendance and workforce-related metrics.
• Support employee relations and performance conversations.
• Contribute to HR projects related to organizational growth and acquisitions.

LHH is working with a manufacturing company that is undergoing growth and integration efforts following recent acquisitions and needs additional HR support to assist with onboarding, HRIS administration, reporting, attendance tracking, recruiting coordination, and various HR projects.

Team Description

• Reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
• Supports approximately 70+ employees across recently integrated business units.
• Works closely with production supervisors, operations leaders, staffing partners, and employees across multiple locations.

This Job in a Nutshell

• Support day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage new hire onboarding and employee setup within UKG.
• Run reports and maintain employee records within the HRIS system.
• Assist with recruiting coordination, job postings, and staffing agency partnerships.
• Track attendance and workforce-related metrics.
• Partner with production supervisors on employee relations matters and difficult conversations.
• Support HR projects related to organizational growth and acquisitions.
• Travel periodically to other Minnesota locations as needed.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
• Comfortable working directly with hourly and production-floor employees.
• Experience with UKG/UltiPro or similar HRIS platforms.
• Strong experience running reports and maintaining employee records.
• Background tracking attendance and workforce data.
• Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary labor programs.
• Ability to assist supervisors with employee relations issues and performance conversations.
• Comfortable balancing project work and administrative responsibilities.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
