Job Details

• Location: Macomb, IL 61455
• Position Type: Full Time
• Salary: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00

Responsibilities

• Provide recruiting support for designated locations and the hiring manager for open positions; collaborate with managers to understand required skills and competencies and extend offers of employment.
• Conduct background checks, regulatory agency checks, and employee eligibility verifications; maintain annual required checks.
• Provide new hire orientation and support employee recognition programs.
• Perform tasks to support HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, culture, occupational health and safety, and training development.
• Handle employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; refer complex or sensitive matters to appropriate staff.
• Manage unemployment claims, leave of absence claims, and benefit claims; maintain documentation.
• Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Ensure accuracy of all payroll changes and benefit enrollments; organize, coordinate, and route payroll changes to appropriate locations for processing.
• Perform exit processes for terminations and ensure all company assets are returned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human resources or related field; or 2+ years of previous HR experience in lieu of a degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
