Vacatia in Florida is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to partner with resort leadership and support our associates across operations. This role focuses on guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management and workplace concerns while building meaningful relationships in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• 24 years of Human Resources experience ideally in hospitality resort operations or a similar service oriented environment.
• Experience with employee relations recruitment onboarding benefits administration and employment laws.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with associates and leadership.
• SHRM CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Be a trusted HR partner for associates and resort leaders across operations.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management and workplace concerns.

What Youll Do

Be a trusted HR partner Serve as a go to resource for associates and resort leaders providing guidance on HR policies employee relations performance management and workplace concernsCreate a great first impression Partner with Talent Acquisition and department managers to support recruiting hiring new hire orientation and onboardingSupport our associates Assist with benefits administration leave management workers compensation payroll updates and employee related questionsBuild a positive workplace culture Support associate engagement recognition training and development initiatives that help our teams thrivePartner with resort leadership Provide hands on HR support across resort departments including coaching performance evaluations employee relations and staffing needsKeep us compliant Maintain accurate employee records support HR reporting and audits and ensure consistent application of company policies and applicable employment laws

What Were Looking For

24 years of Human Resources experience ideally in hospitality resort operations or a similar service oriented environmentWorking knowledge of employee relations recruitment onboarding benefits administration and employment lawsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with associates and leadershipExcellent organizational skills sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters with professionalismA proactive adaptable and hands on approach to supporting a dynamic resort environmentExperience with HRIS applicant tracking and payroll systems preferredBachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered SHRM CP or PHR certification is a plus
