NextGenEnergyJobs seeks an HR Generalist in Jeffersonville, Indiana to manage onboarding/offboarding, training, and benefits guidance. You will also generate HR reports and provide insights to leadership.

The role requires 2+ years in HR, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with labor laws and optimize HR processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
• Strong analytical abilities with data interpretation and insights.
• Experience generating HR reports and working with HRIS such as ADP or Workday.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for employee relations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compensation regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Conduct company-wide trainings and prepare training materials.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits, payroll, and resources guidance.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics reports to support leadership decisions.

Job description

Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Perform companywide training to employees; prepare training materials for companywide training
• Serve as point of contact employee benefit, payroll and company resources guidance to employees
• Prepare and generate reports on HR metrics, providing insights to support strategic decision making.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights in areas such as employee turnover, recruitment, and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing/operations environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in generating HR reports and familiarity with HRIS system, ADP, Workday.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee relations management.
• Demonstrated knowledge related to all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations related to compensation and employment relationship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
