Job summary

Penn Color is seeking an onsite HR Generalist to deliver day-to-day human resources support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include guiding managers on employee relations, performance expectations, investigations, recruiting support, onboarding, and maintaining compliant HR programs. You will maintain accurate records in the HRIS, support training and development, and partner with leaders to foster a positive, compliant workplace in Hatfield, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required.
• 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience handling employee relations and performance matters.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and HR programs.

• Act as a primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing timely, practical guidance
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance expectations, corrective action, attendance, and workplace concerns
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend consistent, appropriate resolutions
• Support recruiting activities, including candidate screening and interview participation
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and help maintain a positive employee experience throughout employment
• Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures consistently and in compliance with applicable laws
• Support performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, employee development, and future talent management activities
• Partner with leaders to identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities
• Maintain accurate employee records and process employment changes in the HR information system (including support to managers as needed)
• Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and company-sponsored events
• Participate in HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company requirements

Requirements
