Donate 2 Impact is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Flower Mound, TX to support employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. Qualifications

  • Must possess full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience or related role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with employee investigations and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: primary point of contact for HR policies and relations.
  • Support investigation and resolution of complaints and workplace issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: identify staffing needs and support recruitment.
  • Coordinate postings, communications, interviews, background checks, and pre-employments.
  • Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Ensure policies, forms, training, and benefits info are provided.
  • HR Administration: maintain HRIS records and accurate employee information.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employment docs.
  • Assist with payroll administration and resolve payroll questions.
  • Support benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Maintain personnel files per policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide HR data and insights to management.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational changes and workforce planning.
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned.
  • Performance & Employee Development: support reviews and development initiatives.
  • Help coordinate recognition and retention programs.
  • Compliance: ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with policy development and updates.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are effectively implemented across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, discreet, and knowledgeable about HR best practices and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, workplace concerns, and employee relations matters.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and workplace issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support the full recruitment process.
  • Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, interviews, background checks, and pre-employment activities.
  • Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Ensure new employees receive required policies, forms, training, and benefits information.

HR Administration

  • Maintain HRIS records and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employment documentation.
  • Assist with payroll administration and resolve employee payroll-related questions.
  • Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Maintain personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide support for Accounting & Finance, as it relates to Payroll, and as and when needed.

Performance & Employee Development

  • Support performance review processes and provide guidance to managers.
  • Assist with employee development, training, and engagement initiatives.
  • Help coordinate employee recognition and retention programs.

Compliance

  • Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support required employment records, audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with policy development and updates as needed.

General HR Support

  • Assist with special HR projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Provide HR data and insights to management to support workforce decisions.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational changes, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must possess full professional fluency (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related HR role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with employee investigations and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Experience working in a growing or multi-site organization.
  • Basic Accounting knowledge.
