Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, hiring, employee relations, and benefits administration. This role emphasizes being an employer of choice and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in HR, knowledge of employment laws, and excellent communication and analytical skills. A SHRM-SP/ SPHR certification is a plus, with a hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

As our Human Resources Generalist, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The HR Generalist is a key contributor in areas of employee onboarding and learning, hiring, employee relations, and benefits administration, with a continued focus on being an employer of choice.
