Job summary

Leddy Group is seeking an HR Generalist for a manufacturing company in Rochester, NH. You will oversee recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, employee engagement, and HR operations in a collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 2 years in recruiting and payroll, preferably with manufacturing experience and ADP/HRIS proficiency. You’ll support employees across levels and help drive workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 2 years in recruiting and payroll administration.
• Experience supporting non-exempt employees is preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of recruiting, including sourcing, scheduling, interviewing and onboarding using an ATS.
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain HRIS records and reporting.
• Assist with employee relations, counseling, exit interviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR files and information.
• Coordinate internal communications and site communications initiatives.
• Assist with planning company events and employee recognition activities.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies and programs.
• Partner with production teams to understand staffing and workforce needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of recruiting, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding using applicant tracking systems.
• Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Process accurate bi-weekly payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and reporting.
• Assist with employee relations matters, counseling discussions, exit interviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring a high level of confidentiality.
• Coordinate and execute internal communications and site communication initiatives.
• Maintain internal company communication platforms and related applications.
• Assist with planning and coordinating company events and employee recognition activities.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
