Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR Team. You will support assigned departments as a trusted HR resource and handle day-to-day HR functions.

Key duties include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, HRIS and payroll support, compliance with federal and state laws, and reporting. You will partner with the HR Director on programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist, coordinator, specialist, or recruiting role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent HR experience may be considered.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
• Working knowledge of HR practices and federal and state employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll/timekeeping systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to assigned client groups and serve as a resource for teammates and leaders.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned departments, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment processing.
• Partner with hiring leaders to monitor vacancies, recruiting activity, and staffing needs.
• Support new teammate onboarding, background screening, I-9 compliance, orientation, and required employment documentation.
• Process and maintain HRIS transactions, personnel records, employment changes, and employment verifications.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes and assist with routine teammate and leader questions.
• Assist with HR compliance, audits, training, performance management, attendance, engagement, and other HR programs.
• Maintain HR and recruiting reports and metrics and help identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
• Partner with the HR Director and HR team on employee matters, special projects, and organizational initiatives.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Healthcare, senior living, or high-volume workforce experience is a plus.
