Job summary

MedOne Healthcare Partners is seeking a recruiter to partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and execute hiring plans for clinical providers and APPs. You will manage postings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with service line leadership to ensure timely placements.

You will also support onboarding, background checks, and start-date communications while maintaining recruitment dashboards and contributing to process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years in recruitment, preferably in a hospital or managed care setting.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and online sourcing.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws and high confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multi-project management skills.

Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:

Collaborates with leadership to execute MedOne’s recruitment strategy by identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent to meet the clinical staffing needs of the organization as well as provide benefit administration support.

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Collaborate with leadership, operations, and scheduling to determine staffing needs and success measures of clinical provider recruitment, including acute and post-acute physicians and APPs and the APP Fellowship.
• Identifies recruitment activities and sourcing methods such as job boards, social media sites and employee referrals to ensure MedOne is attracting the most qualified candidates.
• Proactively manages internal and external job postings in the Applicant Tracking System as well as develops job advertisements.
• Screens resumes/applications of qualified applicants.
• Contacts candidates to ascertain fit and recommends qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with selected candidates and recruitment/service line leadership.
• Manages the provider recruitment and onboarding processes to track provider progress, including but not limited:
  • Gather references on potential hires
  • Prepares and sends non-shareholder physician and APP employment agreements
  • Conducts background checks
  • Communicates target start date with new hires
  • Sends out onboarding paperwork
  • Coordinates badge and business card orders with marketing
  • Schedules coding training for Physicians and Acute APPs
  • Schedules orientation for new hires and prepares orientation folders for new employees
  • Turns down unqualified candidates
• Maintains requisition spreadsheet and provider onboarding spreadsheets
• Plans and executes provider recruitment activities, such as annual recruitment night, new provider dinners, open houses, conference sponsorships, residency outreach, etc.
• Partners with leadership to manage and execute projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Lead recruitment meetings to keep leadership and service line partners informed of recruitment metrics and activities.

Other duties:

• Processes short-term and long disability claims
• Processes FMLA paperwork and requests for leaves
• Responds to verification of employment requests for employees
• Consolidates, updated and maintains job descriptions
• Assists with benefits open enrollment
• Assist with compliance projects such as 1095-Cs, 401(k) mailings, etc.
• Create learning paths in the LMS and helps with training initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant recruitment experience preferably in a hospital or managed care environment. Experience utilizing applicant tracking software as well as internet sources, and social media sites and networking software.

• Knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws.
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work independently.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
