Position Summary
The HR Generalist / Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a key partner to employees and leadership, supporting a broad range of human resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR operations for a growing aerospace manufacturing organization.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building relationships both within the organization and throughout the community. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this individual will support employer branding and community outreach initiatives through social media engagement, workforce development partnerships, and participation in local recruiting and networking events.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and employee lifecycle activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Partner with managers and employees to provide HR guidance, address employee concerns, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, benefits administration, training documentation, and other HR operational functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and support employee engagement, retention, and workforce development initiatives.
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Meta platforms to promote company culture, career opportunities, and community involvement.
- Develop strategic partnerships with local colleges, technical schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines and support hiring objectives.
- Represent the company at job fairs, career events, trade schools, and community outreach programs while promoting the organization as an employer of choice.
- Create engaging recruitment marketing content and track outreach efforts to enhance employer brand awareness and candidate attraction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Community Outreach, or a related role.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or other fast-paced operational environments preferred.
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts and creating professional content across Facebook, Instagram, and Meta platforms.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, organizational, and networking skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees, leadership, educational institutions, and community partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification is a plus.
