As a Human Resources (HR) team member, you support teams and leaders in building a sales force passionate about exceeding guest expectations and creating a workplace where teams love to work.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs
- Ability to effectively use scheduling software
As a Human Resources Expert, no two days are the same, but a typical day may include the following responsibilities:
- Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs, understanding guest needs and ensuring the right experience and enthusiasm to deliver in-store and digital shopping experiences.
- Lead recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates with the right skills and experience.
- Support team member and leader training needs, advocating for continuous learning.
- Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
- Be approachable and available, listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action as needed.
- Implement HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption.
- Support compliance policies to mitigate risks to the team member experience.
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting guests during daily tasks, engaging with guests to assist their needs, and thanking them for shopping at Target.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct issues where possible.
- Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.

- Resolve guest questions promptly.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment to accomplish multiple tasks within set timeframes.
We are committed to supporting our teams, so here are some additional expectations:
- Handle cash register operations accurately as needed.
- Lift products weighing up to 10 pounds regularly without assistance.
- Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions, including tasks like DriveUp and carryout.
- Remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts, which may vary in length.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
