Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132-bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children, and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal, and successfully function at home, work, school, and in their communities.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing overall human resources support for the facility. This includes recruiting for vacant positions, facilitating employee orientations, maintaining personnel records, managing employee benefits enrollment, supporting supervisors with performance management, responding to unemployment compensation correspondence, and organizing employee activities and in-services.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Current SPHR/PHR certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources. Two or more years in a healthcare setting and previous supervisory or director-level experience are highly preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of HR-related Joint Commission Standards and familiarity with the Joint Commission Survey process. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with advanced applicant tracking systems (ATS). Proficiency in Word and Excel, with the ability to prepare HR reports.
