Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on HR Shared Services Lead to manage day-to-day operations and support a global team of HR professionals, with a strong focus on the United States. This is a working lead role where you will provide leadership and oversight, and also perform transactional HR tasks when needed to ensure service continuity and operational excellence. The role requires strong HR operational knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and support a team of HR shared services professionals handling benefits administration and HR administrative tasks for global stakeholders, primarily in the US.
  2. Act as a working lead, willing and able to step into transactional tasks (e.g., data entry, documentation, benefits updates) to ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.
  3. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex issues or stakeholder concerns.
  4. Build strong partnerships with HR and business teams globally, with frequent interaction with US-based stakeholders.
  5. Monitor performance against defined SLAs and promote a culture of accountability, quality, and customer service.
  6. Ensure HR processes are compliant with global policies and applicable local regulations.
  7. Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  8. Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and improve processes within the shared services function.
  9. Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping and data integrity.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  3. Hands-on experience with SAP HCM is strongly preferred.
  4. In-depth understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, especially benefits administration and HR data management.
  5. Proven experience working with US-based stakeholders and knowledge of US benefits and compliance requirements.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence in a virtual, global environment.
  7. Demonstrated ability to manage a remote team while also executing transactional work when required.
  8. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Work Schedule

Full-time remote role. Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST to align with US business hours.
