Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, trades, or similar industries preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, performance, and compliance.
• Advise leadership on workforce planning, development, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage compensation, benefits, leave, workers' comp, and unemployment claims.
• Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

A growing and well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of the HR function. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats, partnering with executive leadership, and building scalable people processes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational, capable of developing HR initiatives while remaining actively involved in day-to-day employee support and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Human Resources operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims
• Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support recruiting and retention efforts for both field and office personnel
• Partner with managers to address employee relations matters and performance concerns
• Maintain HR systems, employee records, and reporting requirements
• Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture
