Job summary

Complete Care in Colchester, CT seeks an experienced HR Director to lead HR in a post-acute healthcare setting. You will oversee recruitment, payroll, labor relations, and compliance, ensuring timely reporting.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and have at least three years of HR leadership experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of HR management experience with success in healthcare/long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of personnel regulations and guidelines for post-acute care.
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English.
• Team player who can work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to interact tactfully with staff, residents, families and regulators.

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment of staff as needed

• Processing of new hires

• Payroll oversight

• Facilitating and mediating all labor related issues

• Ensure all reports and records are completed in a timely manner.

• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience with demonstrated success in human resource management.

• Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in post-acute care settings.

• A ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise judgement.

• Ability to be organized and efficient.
