Overview

Cross Creek Hospital in Austin, Texas, is a respected provider of mental health services for adolescents, adults, and seniors of all genders. Located in the Walnut Creek area of north Austin, our hospital serves individuals struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health concerns. We also treat individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis and a co-occurring substance use disorder. Our inpatient programs are tailored for adults and seniors, while our outpatient services include separate programs for adolescents and adults.

We are currently hiring a part-time Human Resources Coordinator!

Our HR Coordinators handle core HR processes such as benefits, compensation, labor relations, and organizational development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate new hire and benefits orientation, employee training, hiring support, job and compensation analysis, and routine employee relations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HR inquiries.
  • Use judgment and discretion on HR issues and escalate complex matters to senior HR staff.
  • Maintain employee data in UltiPro, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including data entry in UltiPro and communication with relevant departments.
  • Engage in cross-functional activities, interacting with corporate employees on planning, problem-solving, process improvement, and reporting.
  • Interpret and communicate organizational policies and procedures.
  • Advise employees and management on HR practices, policies, and expectations based on information evaluation.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an HR office setting required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional HR certification preferred.
