MyPsychiatrist.com is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations within a growing, multi-location behavioral healthcare organization. This on-site role in Hollywood, FL helps keep payroll processing, onboarding administration, HRIS updates, and compliance tracking running smoothly across teams and locations.
You’ll coordinate key HR workflows, partner with managers and internal departments, and serve as a reliable first point of contact for routine HR process and policy questions, while ensuring confidential employee and compensation information is handled appropriately.
What you’ll do
- Support payroll preparation by reviewing employee changes, timekeeping information, approved adjustments, and required documentation
- Coordinate approved bonuses, incentives, commissions, and other supplemental compensation for payroll processing
- Maintain accurate documentation supporting compensation changes and payroll adjustments
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete payroll information before deadlines
- Respond to routine employee payroll questions and **escalate** sensitive matters appropriately
- Protect confidential payroll, compensation, banking, and employee information
- Help ensure new hires are administratively ready for their first day
- Maintain accurate onboarding documentation and employee records
- Process approved employee changes within the HRIS
- Coordinate documentation related to transfers, promotions, leaves, status changes, and separations
- Maintain complete, organized, and retrievable personnel records
- Maintain the organization-wide 30-60-90 day review calendar, including monitoring completion across employees and managers, sending reminders, and following up on overdue reviews
- Coordinate identified concerns and required follow-up with HR and department leadership, and keep review documentation current in HR systems
- Prepare completion and compliance reporting for leadership and recurring HR reports, employee lists, trackers, and compliance summaries
- Coordinate HIPAA, policy, compliance, and organizational training requirements, including tracking acknowledgments, certifications, and required training
- Monitor recurring and expiring compliance requirements and follow up before deadlines are missed
- Support HR and Compliance with audits and documentation requests, and **escalate** incomplete or potentially non-compliant requirements promptly
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR process and policy questions, responding professionally and promptly
- Support managers with onboarding, employee documentation, review deadlines, and HR procedures
- Conduct employee check‑ins and help identify recurring themes, including visiting MyPsychiatrist locations to maintain HR visibility and employee connection
- Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, job‑satisfaction initiatives, team‑building, and employee‑appreciation activities
- Support employee surveys and pulse checks, document meaningful workforce feedback, and follow through on employee‑experience initiatives
- Route employee relations, compensation, leave, accommodation, and other sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of Human Resources, HR operations, payroll, employee administration, or comparable HR experience
- Professional experience working in a healthcare organization
- Experience supporting at least two of the following: payroll, HRIS administration, onboarding, compliance tracking, employee records, or performance-review processes
- Experience handling confidential employee and/or payroll information
- Strong understanding of the importance of HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality within healthcare
- Strong organizational and deadline-management skills, with exceptional attention
