Job Summary
The HR Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational activities supporting the organization to develop, enhance, and execute procedures and policies in alignment with company goals and initiatives.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Coordinate, lead, and direct all HR administrative and operational tasks/initiatives including onboarding, orientation, off-boarding, compensation and benefits, training, recruitment, and HRIS data accuracy.
- Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing and executing human resources procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business units.
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, employee performance programs, and reward & recognition programs.
- Ensure legal compliance with HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies as necessary.
- Consult with business unit team members regarding HR strategies that support business needs.
- Provide full cycle, day-to-day HR support across all levels.
- Advise and train managers and supervisors in employee relations practices and strategies.
- Serve as the point of contact on HR issues and questions.
- Evaluate and respond to employee concerns.
- Conduct investigations of complaints and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in employee development through coaching and mentoring.
- Stay current with employee relations trends, regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, Employee Relations, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of broad-based HR generalist experience.
- Experience with HRIS/Payroll Systems, preferably ADP.
- Collaborative leadership skills.
- Conflict management and resolution skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and creativity.
- Thorough knowledge of HR procedures, policies, and metrics.
