Job summary

Michels Corporation in Texas is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to project leaders across our growing field operations.

You will drive talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, performance management, and workforce planning while maintaining strict confidentiality and high ethical standards. Travel to project sites across Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field - or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience with responsibilities for employee relations, investigations, performance management, and corrective action decisions.
• Ability to work independently; travel to project sites in Texas and beyond.
• Heavy employee relations experience.
• Union experience a must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of confidentiality and ability to process sensitive information.
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.

What it takes:

• Ability to work independently - this person will be on project sites 100% of the time - travel expectations around other project sites within Texas as well
