Job description

Human Resources Business Partner

The Blackbaud People & Culture Team is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) professional to join our team. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on HR-related topics. A successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent while proactively communicating HR-related needs. It is important that the HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and competition. This role will focus on these responsibilities within the Customer Success organization for the workforce in Costa Rica. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.


What you’ll do

  1. Collaborate with leaders to thoroughly understand the company's human capital needs.
  2. Help create and execute a plan to meet talent targets.
  3. Partner with leaders and the HR team to build a great place to work.
  4. Help create a work environment where employees are valued and can succeed in serving customers well.
  5. Lead and educate client groups through core HR processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, pulse surveys, compliance).
  6. Provide insightful data to guide decision-making and proactive solutions.
  7. Provide employee reports, data analysis, and recommendations on compensation, stock, job levels, turnover, and other relevant metrics.


What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-tech environment or relevant HR experience.
  • Skilled in Employee Relations, ensuring efficient coordination and resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities and tactical HR work.
  • Flexible work style and approach based on client needs.
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Success utilizing data, analysis, trends, and reports to drive business needs.
  • Ability to think and execute with excellence in employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and more.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
